| Resumo: | The university is a place for building knowledge that should promote experience and learning while preparing for the job market. For that, there are mandatory activities, such as the mandatory internship, and others such as extensionist activities. For a more intensive preparation, the junior enterprise is created, promoting a first-hand experience of the labor market. This work aims to discuss the importance and paths of building a junior enterprise, in particular for the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte’s librarianship course, and how specific to indicate the challenges, demands and steps for setting up a junior enterprise; and identification through experience reports as the best practices of an junior enterprise in the area. Bibliographic research was used to compose the theoretical framework and declare with former participants of the junior company of the course to understand their experiences. It is concluded that the junior company is a great opportunity to witness the challenges of the job market, practice what was learned in the classroom, while implementing a more entrepreneurial thinking in the student. |
