Resumo:This study aimed to analyze the activities, changes and ways of adapting the act of work to the real work situation of SUAS workers in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research is characterized as an exploratory study with an exploratory mixed methods approach. The sample counted on the use of two documental sources and the participation of 47 workers with higher education from SUAS. The sample was non-probabilistic and comprised a convenience sampling. The data collection technique included the use of document research and the questionnaire. Data were collected through documentary research and a questionnaire and analyzed through content analysis and descriptive statistics. The results showed that the prescribed work, in greater number, refers to the recommendation of work aimed at the relationship with the target audience, while in the real work scope there was a greater limitation of activities aimed at groups and communities and less limitation for individualized services. On the one hand, the research findings allow us to conclude that the work was mainly limited by preventive measures for the spread of Covid-19, especially those that prevent the gathering of people, and, therefore, affected the execution of collective and community activities. On the other hand, it can be inferred that the continuity of the offer of the social assistance policy in the context of the pandemic was maintained mainly as a result of reception activities and individualized care, as these activities had the smallest discrepancies between the prescribed work and the real work.
