Resumo:When we think about the performance of the pedagogue, what comes to mind at first is a school and a classroom, however, is not what you know, is what you are looking for in the pedagogue can act in various spaces, including out of school walls. Therefore, we proposed through a research of how this professional works in a space, where as people who are there, are with mental disorders, resulting from the use of alcohol and abusive drugs, as is the case of crack. The objective of this study was the best for the health center called CAPS ad in the city of Caicó-RN. Methodologically, we start from a bibliographical research, founded on authors who discuss the theme. We also carried out documentary research, in loco visit, photographic records and questionnaire application. Based on the data researched, we concluded that the pedagogue's activity occurs through the participation of the users in the workshops as well as in the accomplishment of the activities, together with the support Of a team of multiprofessionals, seek to reinsert the same to the familiar conviviality and also a society, for this, knowledge and common goals, that support the creation of a dignified life.
