| Resumo: | The study aims to highlight the importance of music in Carnaúba dos Dantas city that stands out for being a very fertile soil of renowned musicians, entitled, around the late XIX century, "Terra da música” (“Earth Music"). In learning music this time, the musicians composed their songs while working on the farm and they brought as basic characteristics the description of the daily life, customs and identity of its inhabitants. In this context it was born the teaching of music shared among family and friends. Thus, the main objective of this research is to focus on music education in their formal application, using, for this, reading comprehension and writing scores, its use and its benefits in the development of the individual, such as social, emotional and mental. We highlight the teaching of music through music that is developed in the Philharmonic Eleven December. The theoretical basis of this production brought a ideas dialogue especially between the productions of Dantas et al (2005), Galvão (1998), Dantas (1987), Guanais (2001), Granja (2010), Gainza (1977) and (1988). To achieve the same, an action that allows a panoramic view of the study through qualitative research, quantitative, documentary and participant observation was performed. |
