description Pedagogical tourism facilitates the learning process and is a source full of cultural riches, giving students the opportunity to experience the theory seen in the classroom in practice. With the development of technology over the years, access to information has become faster and easier. Devices such as tablets and smartphones have the ability to bundle a variety of tools into one device, seen as a trend in many economic sectors, as well as in tourism. This work consists of a research conducted with a focus group of nine students of the Tourism Course of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte to know how na app could help in the organization and planning of educacional visits. In the first stage of the discussion, individually, they answered questions regarding their profile. Then, the group was collectively conducted through a script with open questions related to the importance of technical visits and the proposal of an app. The research was recorded in audio form and later transcribed to analyze the data and explore the results. From the analysis, it is found that students believe that visits are of great importance to align their theoretical and practical knowledge and that the development of an app can help in the organization and planning of pedagogical visits. The positive points highlighted by them were the optimization of the time and helping teachers in organizing the trips. As well as ease in the preparation of the visit and also facilitate communication between who organizes the visit and who makes the equipment available for it to be performed

Com o desenvolvimento da tecnologia ao passar dos anos, o acesso à informação ficou mais rápida e fácil. Dispositivos como tablets e smartphones possuem a capacidade de agrupar um número variado de ferramentas em um só aparelho, visto como uma tendência em vários setores econômicos, e também no turismo. Este trabalho consiste em uma pesquisa realizada com um grupo focal de nove estudantes do Curso de Turismo da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte para saber como um aplicativo poderia auxiliar na organização e no planejamento de visitas pedagógicas. Na primeira etapa da discussão, individualmente, eles responderam a perguntas com relação ao perfil deles. Em seguida, o grupo foi coletivamente conduzido por meio de um roteiro com perguntas abertas relacionadas a importância das visitas técnicas e a proposta de um aplicativo. A pesquisa foi gravada em forma de áudio e posteriormente transcrita para analisar os dados e explorar os resultados. A partir da análise, contata-se que os estudantes acreditam que as visitas são de grande importância para alinhar seu conhecimento teórico ao prático e que o desenvolvimento de um aplicativo pode auxiliar na organização e planejamento das visitas pedagógicas. Os pontos positivos destacados por eles foram a otimização do tempo e ajudar os professores na organização das viagens.
