With a qualitative-quantitative approach, the results were collected through an interview with statements in the Likert Scale (1932) and open questions with the universe of research totaling 31 respondents who were divided into five groups, Residents, Tourists, Representatives of local companies, Tourism Professionals and Tourism Managers. The results obtained through the calculation of the Average Ranking demonstrated that Tourism is seen, in general, with a positive vice by the groups and that it has brought benefits to the community. The final considerations point out that tourism, despite generating development for the community, still has room for improvement, mainly in the basic infrastructure and security in the community, making room for a more in-depth study of the locality. A atividade turística é vista como um grande fator de desenvolvimento para os destinos onde a mesma ocorre, no entanto, é deixado de lado ou negligenciado os impactos negativos advindos do Turismo na comunidade receptora e como isso afeta a realidade dos atores locais; com isto em mente, o presente trabalho possui como objetivo geral analisar a percepção dos atores locais sobre os impactos socioambientais da atividade turística em Pitangui/RN. Com uma abordagem qualitativa-quantitativa, os resultados foram coletados por meio de uma entrevista com afirmativas na Escala Likert (1932) e questões abertas com o universo da pesquisa totalizando 31 entrevistados que foram divididos em cinco grupos, Residentes, Turistas, Representantes de empresas locais, Profissionais do Turismo e Gestores do Turismo. Os resultados obtidos através do cálculo do Ranking Médio demonstraram que o Turismo é visto, de modo geral, com um olhar positivo pelos grupos e que trouxe benefícios para a comunidade.
