description This study addresses the issue of sexual and reproductive rights of women deprived of their liberty. The research aims to analyze the challenges to the achievement of sexual and reproductive rights of women who are serving time in the prison system.In the context of sexual and reproductive health, it is imperative to consider its specific demands and the significant increase in the number of incarcerated women in Brazil. We assume that the conditions of incarceration spaces in the country are notable for their violations, gender inequalities, and institutional violence that multiply and bring serious damage to the health of this population.This is a study of qualitative approach, with bibliographic and documentary analysis based on monographs, masters dissertations, and doctoral thesis found in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). Data from IFOPEN reports we used. Authors such as Wacquant (1999), Safiotti (2004), Camurça (2007), Angotti (2012), Ávila (2013), Cavalcanti (2019), among others, were used as references for the study. This research found that black and poor women are the most affected by mass incarceration.Most of them are mothers, responsible for providing for the family, with little or no education, and consequently, unemployed. In addition, the study found that pregnant women enter the prison system without access to adequate health services. Aspects such as access to hygiene, free exercise of their sexuality, control in their own decisions about reproduction, and lack of medical treatment for gynecological issues. These are a result of poor investments in public policies to guarantee the rights of these people, who are serving time and are excluded from society.

Este trabalho de conclusão de curso aborda o tema dos direitos sexuais e reprodutivos das mulheres em privação de liberdade. A pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar os desafios postos à materialização dos direitos sexuais e reprodutivos das mulheres que cumprem pena no sistema carcerário. É preciso considerar as especificidades de demandas as quais esse segmento requer no âmbito da saúde sexual e reprodutiva, bem como o significativo aumento dos números do encarceramento de mulheres no Brasil. Partimos do pressuposto que as condições dos espaços de encarceramento femininos no país são na sua maioria marcadas por violações, desigualdades de gênero e violências institucionais que se multiplicam e trazem sérios prejuízos à saúde dessa população. Esta pesquisa qualitativa, com análise bibliográfica e documental teve como base monografias, dissertações de mestrado e doutorado contidas na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD). Assim como dados dos relatórios disponibilizados pelo INFOPEN. Autores/as como, Wacquant (1999), Safiotti (2004), Camurça (2007), Angotti (2012), Ávila (2013), Cavalcanti (2019), dentre outros/as foram usados/as como referências para o estudo. Por fim, foi constatado que as mulheres pretas e pobres são as mais afetadas com o encarceramento em massa. A maioria delas são mães, as quais são responsáveis pelo provimento familiar, com pouca – ou nenhuma - escolaridade e, consequentemente, desempregadas.
