Resumo: | The Caatinga is a biome in the Brazilian semi-arid region with low resilience and in the process of desertification. This scenario of anthropogenic disturbance and desertification, combined with climatic conditions, makes the Caatinga a priority environment for restoration. For reforestation projects to achieve good development and development results, as seedlings that will be taken to the field must present good quality, both in morphological and physiological characteristics. Based on this information, the present study aims to evaluate the initial development in the field, based on the height (H) and diameter at the base (DNB) of the seedlings implanted, of six species native to the Caatinga produced in two types of containers, bag polyethylene for bamboo seedlings and cylinders, as well as an emergency taxon in a degraded area located in Currais Novos - RN. Six native species were used, 20 individuals per species, which were divided into 10 for bag treatment and 10 for bamboo treatment, as six species were divided into two groups, three pioneer (P) and three non-pioneer (NP), Erythrina velutina Wilid. (mulungu), Enterolobium contortisiliquum (Vell.) (tamboril), e Cnidoscolus quercifolius Pohl. (favela), e três não pioneiras (NP) Caesalpinia Ferrea Mart (pau ferro, jucá), Amburana cearensis (Allemao) A.C.Sm (cumarú) e Aspidosperma pyrifolium Mart. & Zucc. (pereiro).. Planting was carried out in April 2017, with 3 m x 2 m spacing, and hydrated hydrogel of foundation. All guests were plated and measured in the months of April / 2017, April / 2018 and August / 2018. It was observed, better survival for the pioneers produced in the bag, as well as better development both in H and in DNB. |
