| Resumo: | This work consists of surveying the implementation of the actions to combat
desertification developed by the Citizen Government Project in areas of
Desertification Nuclei of Rio Grande do Norte. The reason for conducting this
research was due to the problems related to soil conservation in the Seridó region of
Rio Grande do Norte. Considering this situation, the research was carried out
knowing the proposals of the Pilot Project to Combat Desertification of Seridó that
were designed by the Citizen Government Program to compare them with the
implementations that occurred in three municipalities of the RN, Parelhas, Carnaúba
dos Dantas and Equador. The development of the work was based on the
interpretation of work execution documents, carried out between 2017 and 2018,
provided by the Citizen Government Program and on-site visits with state
technicians, to verify the progress of the implementation of the projects. actions and
identify the advantages that the Project will enable. The results showed that the
socio-environmental works were almost completely executed. |
