| Resumo: | This final work is the development of a pre-project of a cultural space focused for young people in the Felipe Camarão neighborhood, located in Natal/RN. The interest in the subject arose from the observation of everyday events in the neighborhood in study. Many young people are victims of violence occurring in the suburbs and the lack of public policies for this class decrease the chances of reversing this situation. Although social problems exist, this study also shows another community reality: a popular cultural tradition. The idea was to unite the two conditions and propose a solution. For the implementation of the work some conceptual aspects related to the issue have been discussed. Overall, the proposal is part of a context considered important, which is the discussion of measures to combat violence. |
