| Resumo: | This Final Graduation Project has as object of study the architectural project of an equipment for culture and events focusing on nerd / geek culture for the city of Natal/RN, emphasizing on multifunctionality and flexibility of the built environment. The reason for choosing this project was the observation of the rapid growth of this urban tribe in the recent years, hence the low offer of a cultural space facing this issue and that could properly receive the events with this focus. Furthermore the objective is to apply the multifunctionality and flexibility strategies to attract not only the nerd/geek public, but also the entire population of the city, and the skilled space designed to create coexistence, education, culture and entertainment as well as for receiving various types of events. Thus, designing a culture space and multifunctional event aims to enhance the culture and encourage the use of public space, bringing an improvement to the life quality of the population. |
