| Resumo: | The necessity of adequate spaces for sports activities in the Bom Pastor neighborhood means that children and adolescents are increasingly exposed to violence and insecurity, with no prospect of development through sports and cultural activities. This shortage of appropriate spaces can lead to a number of internal conflicts. When a space for leisure and education favorable to sports is not offered, inappropriate spaces - such as sidewalks, streets, vacant lots, slopes, among others - begin to be used by the population, who often submit themselves to risky situations without even realize. Based on this problem, this undergraduate thesis aims to develop a draft of a sports center for the neighborhood of Bom Pastor. In order to elaborate the proposal, it was necessary to understand the possible relations between the project to be developed and the educational institutions near the intervention area, as well as to understand the characteristics of the ideal sports spaces for the practice of physical activity integrated to the school environment, identifying how sensory stimuli interfere in the experience of the built space, as an integral part of architecture. |
