| Resumo: | Despite numerous government incentives for education become accessible to all people, the rate of dropout and repetition in public schools still remains large. In order to propose an alternative to the current education, this Final Graduation Work presents an elaboration of a project of a primary and elementar school, that embrance children from 1 year to 12 years old, using the methodology designed by Maria Montessori. This study was based on theoretical research on school architecture, child development and education of children and youth in Brazil, in addition to studies of references, design parameters and projects constraints. The project seeks to solve issues of accessibility, comfort, functionality and flexibility in the educational environment, exploring the entertainment and sensory stimuli in the composition of the school building. |
