Resumo:This final degree paper is based on child-oriented hospital architecture with emphasis on the humanization concept. Its objective is to elaborate a polyclinic draft that serves disabled and neurological ill children, a not so explored group on this state, whose demand is increasing lately due to microcephaly cases associated to zyka virus. The institution will be built in São Gonçalo do Amarante, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The proposal is focused on the creation of humanized spaces, with the understanding that a welcoming environment can minimize the impacts caused by treatment. Therefore, besides bibliographical revision about the theme, this text presents data about the target audience’s needs, the main standards that guide this kind of project and reference studies in similar equipment. This work takes into account legal, bioclimatic and programmatic conditions that support the way taken by this document to do things. Finally, the building is presented, occupying a 7,020.00 m2 batch, with a construction area of 4,449.30 m2, distributed in four floors, fitting like a puzzle, generating big landscaped leisure areas. Keywords: Polyclinic. Humanization. Hospital Architecture. Pediatrics.
