Resumo: | Since the 1970s, the concerns about the environmental impacts caused by humans has been growing, especially in the civil construction, and strategies have been established, from for private and public initiatives, such as public policies, environmental norms and certifications. Health care facilities, otherwise, have high construction complexity and energy consumption. However, the number of hospitals that have sustainability precepts is lower when compared to other sectors, although studies show that a more sustainable occupation promotes a more efficient treatment for patients. According to this scenario, it is proposed the preliminary study of a Day Hospital for Children with Cancer aiming to obtain environmental certification to provide a quality environment for children with cancer in Natal / RN. Thus, the work is structured on specific objectives (1) Analyze the design guidelines for a building that can receive environmental certification; (2) Understand the needs of buildings specialized in pediatric oncology; (3) Promote sustainability-oriented occupation as a strategy to improve cancer treatment of patients. From visits to oncopediatric day hospitals LEED certification study, the proposed architectural solution meets halfly the credits requested by the certification regarding the location and preliminary study of the Project and indicates guidelines for the next stages. |
