At first, we will recall some fundamental concepts such as Basic Notions of Sets and some definitions of Abstract Algebra and Real Analysis that will serve as a basis for a better understanding and development of this work as a whole. Then, we will study about the body of Complex Numbers, in order to define them in a clear and objective way, studying some of its properties and particularities, especially the Gaussian Integers. Finally, we will introduce the concept of Algebraic and Transcendent Numbers, highlighting some of its main properties and curiosities, still opening space for the reader to seek new and more in-depth knowledge on this subject. O principal objetivo deste trabalho é introduzir e familiarizar o leitor com o conceito de Números Algébricos e Transcendentes, mostrando como estes números se encontram definidos bem como seus respectivos representantes por vezes pouco conhecidos, mas bastante utilizados durante o estudo na graduação. A princípio, relembraremos alguns conceitos fundamentais como Noções Básicas de Conjuntos e algumas definições de Álgebra Abstrata e Análise Real que servirão de base para uma melhor compreensão e desenvolvimento deste trabalho como um todo. Em seguida, estudaremos a respeito do Corpo dos Números Complexos, a fim de defini-los de forma clara e objetiva estudando algumas de suas propriedades e particularidades, em especial, os Inteiros Gaussianos.
