Resumo: | The present monograph discusses the criminalization of youth in the Brazilian State in relation to the entire historical framework that generates this expression of the social issue. Its main objective is to analyze the determinants that involve the criminalization of youth by the State, identifying the relationship between the State, the mode of production and the criminalization of youth. In this way, we understand the need to problematize the conceptions historically constructed and attributed to youth and to apprehend the political, economic and social mediations that go through the process of criminalization of Brazilian youth. The methodology used for the development of the monograph will be a qualitative research that considers quantitative materials of documentary and bibliographic nature. The basic method used will be Marx's dialectic critic, which enables an understanding of reality in its entirety. It will be presented data that demonstrate how much the youth is victim of this criminalization and of the expressions of the social question generated by the current capitalist system. From the conclusions obtained, it is identified that the brazilian youth is more victim of violence than its author, entering into why more and more young people are inserted in situations of violence and why they are criminalized by the brazilian State. Understanding that violence, being an expression of the social issue, will only be solved by overcoming the capitalist mode of production. |
