| Resumo: | The present Course Conclusion Paper has the general objective of analyzing the challenges posed to Social Work from an internship experience with the Regional Council of Social Work of the State of Rio Grande do Norte - CRESS / RN. For the development of this reflection, the specific objectives for this work were proposed to investigate the working conditions of Social Work professionals in Rio Grande do Norte; to identify particularities of the work of Social Work in the reality of Rio Grande do Norte; discuss the internship processes as a space for the production of knowledge. The theoretical-methodological option of the study excelled by the historical-dialectical materialist method for its conduct, making use of bibliographic and documentary analysis, in addition to the use of an online form available to Social Service professionals registered with CRESS-RN. The survey of data carried out via form, between the months of September and November / 2019 composed the activities of the internship intervention project developed with CRESS-RN (2019). For the construction of this study, content analysis was also used as a methodological resource. It can be concluded that historical challenges with socio-political particularities persist in the territory of Potiguar, due to the contours of that territory marked by the structure of economic dependence, and as local political influences, which outline various limits for the group of employees in this region, especially, for social workers in Rio Grande do Norte - target audience of this research. |
