| Resumo: | This paper aimed to discuss the position of women in the sexual division of labor, making an analysis between the positions imposed on men and women in society and explaining how this division occurred and the consequences of it. In this way, the discussion runs not only through the current conjuncture, but through an analysis of biblical passages that attribute to women a place in social and labor division, through the way it is still seen today and as seen in the job market. The methodology used was based on a bibliographical review, bringing the positions of authors who discuss this subject, having as an analysis perspective the critical dialectical method that allows the understanding of the phenomenon as a whole. Therefore, one can observe the difficulties that still permeate the image of women in society and the consequences of this fact especially for their work. |
