This work, however, will deepen the voiding dysfunction in children. Currently, a series of treatments used to reduce the impacts of DTUIs, from drug use, through the various approaches to physiotherapy, to, in some cases, surgical treatments. All these clinical manifestations generate great discomfort for a child, often generating psychological problems, such as low self-esteem and social isolation, further aggravating the condition. The objective of this study is to report the experience of pelvic physiotherapy care in a child with clinical diagnosis of urinary incontinence. Case description: Patient M.C.L.S, female, 5 (five) years old, with a clinical diagnosis of urinary incontinence associated with recurrent urinary tract infection. Submitted to 19 sessions of physiotherapy of 45 minutes of pelvic physiotherapy with behavioral orientations, pelvic floor muscle training and TENS. The Dysfunctional Voiding Scoring System and Bristol Stool Form Scale (BSFS) were applied. Results: At the end of the treatment, the patient began to urinate with a strong jet, improved nocturnal enuresis and began to evacuate on alternate days with feces with consistency considered normal by the BSFS. Conclusion: Behavioral treatment associated with PFMT and electrostimulation has a good response in the treatment of LUTD in children. However, it is not possible to affirm the individual effectiveness of each of these therapies, because the treatments were performed in a combined manner. Moreover, as the patient also used magnesium chloride, on medical recommendation, it was not possible to measure the influence of the medication in this process.

Disfunção do trato urinário inferior (DTUI) é um termo utilizado para identificar uma série de distúrbios no funcionamento das fases da micção (enchimento e esvaziamento), e pode acometer pessoas de ambos os sexos e de todas as idades. Este trabalho, no entanto, irá se aprofundar nas disfunções miccionais em crianças. Atualmente, uma série de tratamentos vêm sendo usados para minimizar os impactos das DTUIs, desde o uso medicamentoso, passando pelas diversas abordagens da fisioterapia, até, em alguns casos, intervenções cirúrgicas. Todas estas manifestações clínicas geram um grande desconforto para a criança, gerando, muita das vezes, problemas de ordem psicológica, como baixa autoestima e isolamento social, agravando ainda mais o quadro. O objetivo desse estudo é relatar a experiência de atendimento de fisioterapia pélvica em uma criança com diagnóstico clínico de incontinência urinária. Descrição do caso: Paciente M.C.L.S, do sexo feminino, de 5 (cinco) anos de idade, com diagnóstico clínico de incontinência urinária associada à infecção de repetição do trato urinário. Submetida a 19 sessões de fisioterapia de 45 minutos de fisioterapia pélvica com orientações comportamentais, treinamento dos músculos do assoalho pélvico e TENS. Foi aplicado o questionário Dysfunctional Voiding Scoring System e Escala de Bristol para Consistência das Fezes (EBCF). Resultados: Ao final do tratamento, a paciente passou a urinar com jato forte, melhorou da enurese noturna e passou a evacuar em dias alternados com fezes com consistência consideradas normais pela EBCF. Conclusão: O tratamento comportamental associado ao TMAP e à eletroestimulação apresentam uma boa resposta no trato de DTUI em crianças. Porém, não é possível afirmar a efetividade individual de cada uma destas terapias, em virtude de os tratamentos terem sido realizados de forma conjugada.
