Resumo:This study presents an analysis of the level of implementation of Compliance practices at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, according to the adapted model of KPMG International. It is a case study carried out through a field research, with a quantitative approach of exploratory descriptive character. A questionnaire containing 34 closed questions, not stimulated, was applied to the servants of the Planning and General Coordination Office (PROPLAN). From the collection and tabulation of the data, the technique of factorial analysis, a technique of interdependence and exploratory data analysis to define the latent structure of a set of variables and to validate the research model within the Autarchy. After analyzing the data, it was uncovered that the Compliance practices applicable to the culture of prevention of compliance risks are at the implementation level. Similarly, it was identified that the compliance practices applicable to the detection of deviations of conduct are also at the implementation level. Next, it was observed that only the practice of management deficiencies, presents himself implemented. As discussed, the remaining compliance practices are at the implementation level. Thus, the general objective established for this study were reached. In addition, the results of this work can contribute as indicative for implementation of the practices of Compliance, risk management and corporate governance at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).
