Resumo:This study presents an evaluation of the level of Organizational Commitment of Funpec employees in the light of the Escala de Bases do Comprometimento Organizacional Revisada - EBACO-R (FERNANDES et al., 2016). It is a case study carried out through a field research, with a quantitative approach, of applied nature and descriptive purpose. The first step consisted in the application of the questionnaire with 29 closed questions to the employees of Funpec. From the data collection and tabulation, the factorial analysis and the Cronbach Alpha were done to statistically validate the model within the framework of a Third Sector foundation. As a result, low reliability was observed in the base Consistent line of activities. After the validation of the model, the socioeconomic and occupational profile of the employees of Funpec was characterized. Next, the level of commitment of the organization's employees in each of the bases was analyzed, verifying that the base of the Organizational Commitment that predominated among the employees was Affective. The last step was the comparison between the bases of the EBACO-R model and the socioeconomic and occupational characteristics of the employees of Funpec, finding divergences between the commitment of several groups and the organization. It is suggested that future studies validate the EBACO-R model in different organizational contexts, as well as to re-evaluate the application of the commitment ranges proposed by Bastos (2008) to the EBACO model of Medeiros (2003) in the EBACO-R model.
