Resumo:Moving is a human need. The question of mobility is an intrinsic question of human life and its various manifestations. This work starts from this principle and describes some of the relations between this human need to move and the socioeconomic context naturally originated from it. Inserting these relations within the urban context of the city of Natal, and highlighting the socioeconomic market of tourism, this work has as main objective to analyze the viability of the expansion (opening of a new store) of Solaris Autolocadora, already existing company in the city of Natal, RN. From the methodological point of view, the author carried out three surveys, one qualitative (questionnaire) and two quantitative ones (analysis of the car rental market and financial dimension). Both researches were associated to the theoretical knowledge in Administrative Sciences to carry out the Business Plan. The results showed that, currently, the car leasing market is growing significantly, which favors the expansion of Solaris Autolocadora. This work presented the reality of the national vehicle rental market through information disclosed by renowned institutions such as Anfavea, Abla and Fenabrave, conducted a questionnaire with the key customer, calculated the economic indicators of the new store and described improvements in administrative processes. All these results allowed the author of the paper to prove the viability of creation of a new Solaris Rent a Car.
