| Resumo: | The study presentes as its theme the geographical landscape. The relationship
between space and consumption is presente in the construction of the landscape,
this time, the Alecrim neighborhood, in Nata-RN, presentes itself as an example
of this relationship, containing in its plot arrangements that denote the
preponderance of comercial activity aimed at various types. Of consumption in
one place. Thus, the relationship between consumption and space weaves the
neighborhood landscape revealing interests, conflicts and disputes, which is the
problematic of this. Thus, we show how the relationship betwenn space and
consumption occurs in the landscape configuration in the city space in the
referred neighborhood. Methodologically tem streets in the neighborhood were
analyzed. The research is anchored in bibliographic searches, observation,
description and registration of the study site, interviews with merchants,
marketers, passers-by and consumers. Throughout the study, it is evidente that
in the neighborhood there is a predominance of shopping streets and that the
food segment is strongly presente in the place, even though it is not organized
more equally in the main streets studied. |
