| Resumo: | We propose a reflection on the way of conducting in ballroom dancing, not only aiming at the execution of figures already existing in the various modalities of dance to two, but the exploration of corporeal relations that allow an amplification of the personal motor repertoire of the dancer and the dilation of the Perception of contact between bodies. We take here the Contact Improvisation as a factor of connection between bodies and thus prioritize the interaction beyond the vocabulary of ballroom dancing, although it shelters the bases of existing movements and referentials as the starting point for a new investigation. When realizing that the fundamental basis for starting couples dance is the Contact, we envisage a practice of ballroom dancing in which such a relation plays a more evident role in the consciousness of those who experience it. |
