For this, it was approached from a dialogic methodology, by putting the teacher in a critical position to be in action and watch on their practice researcher and school interaction articulator and social environment in which the child is inserted. The article, therefore, will show ways of working with dance in a constructive way to school this knowledge with children, proposing and seeking to understand possibilities of contextualized teaching practice in the reality of students. Este artigo tece reflexões e proposições sobre o ensino da dança na Educação Infantil, através do compartilhamento de um relato de experiência que aconteceu na Instituição de Ensino Núcleo de educação da Infância- NEI, relatando os caminhos percorridos, as nuances do ensinar dança na escola, face aos conhecimentos dos alunos e suas inquietações como elemento instigante para a pesquisa da dança, a partir do Tema de Pesquisa – Egito Antigo, como referência para a condução das relações de ensino e aprendizagem da dança na Educação Infantil. Isto foi abordado a partir de uma metodologia dialógica, por colocar o professor numa postura crítica de estar na ação e se observar sobre sua prática de pesquisador e de articulador da interação escola e meio social, no qual, a criança está inserida.
