Resumo:The seismic reflection data are the products of the geophysical methods most widely used in the exploration of hydrocarbons. This happens, fundamentally, due to its good cost-benefit relation between the depth of investigation of the target to be prospected and the horizontal and spatial resolutions associated with the method. For that, it is necessary that the seismic data is reliable as to the final image, which, it is not enough to have made a good acquisition and an adequate processing, as it still presents a certain level of built-in noise, and, in several cases, not yet specifically emphasizes the target. In this context, the present work deals with post-processing, which usually improves the seismic character, and the use of seismic attributes, whose main objective is to emphasize / highlight important features for interpretation. The attributes used were: Similarity, spectral decomposition, instantaneous amplitude and instantaneous frequency. The results obtained confirm the applicability of seismic attributes as a powerful tool to aid seismic interpretation.
