| Resumo: | This study aimed to analyze the influence of functional independence in the quality of life of elderly attendees Basic Units of community groups Health. It is a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, which was home in data collection performed, using sociodemographic form, Mini Mental State Examination, the Functional Independence Measure scale and the questionnaire of quality of life specific for elderlyWHOQOL-OLD.The functional independence presents correlation with the quality of life of the elderly, with statistical significance for the domains functioning of the sensorium(p=0,001), autonomy (p=0,013) and social participation(p<0,001). |
