Resumo:With the pandemic scenario caused by the virus that became known worldwide as Covid-19, in order to contain the spread of the disease throughout the planet, a series of ruptures was observed in the most diverse sectors, causing abrupt changes in all areas, social, economic, family and, above all, labor. Furthermore, professionals, especially those linked to health, who represents the group of workers who tend to be at greater risk and suffer greater impact as a result of increased direct contact with the disease and/or its sequelae, deserve to be highlighted. In this context, this study aims to identify the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the relationships and quality of life at work of health professionals in the city of Natal/RN. Therefore, a descriptive and exploratory, quantitative and qualitative field research was carried out through the application of a virtual questionnaire, using the QWLQ-Bref model, validated in Brazil, and also using semi-structured interviews. The sampling was extended to 80 health professionals from different public and private institutions (clinics, hospitals, among others) from different areas, including doctors, nurses, technicians, nutritionists, psychologists, physiotherapists, among others. Although it was identified that most institutions do not use QWL programs, nor carry out any research of this nature, the QWL average was rated as satisfactory and had positive results in three of the four domains, with a neutral result only in the last one, these being: physical/health, personal, psychological and professional. Finally, there were some paradoxes between the respondents' responses, requiring further studies on the subject; management elements considered to be deficient were also identified, such as: the remuneration system, training, working conditions, among others, also applying specific studies of organizational and satisfaction orientation, under the responsibility of each of the institutions, were also required, leading to identification of its main bottlenecks and points for improvement, with the objective of promoting effective QWL programs, specialized in those needs, focusing to ensure constant improvement in service and performance, by expanding the QWL of its employees.
