Resumo:Literature works’s adaptation to cinematographic works is a phenomenon that has been happening for years. It divides critics’s and viewers’s opinions, and it has been increasingly studied. This essay will be limited to analyse The Little Prince book’s adaptation to a animated feature film in 2015; what has been changed or added from the original story, the signs used in each one of the narratives, wich cinematographic techniques were used. It will be done based on three articles referring to studies on adaptations, and contents about the animation’s production (the movie itself, enterviews, between others). With that it was possible to observe the adaptation’s process, the reason for some choices, and the final result achieved to the movie The Little Prince.
