The musicalization for the body propitiates the individual to explore the sounds and the movements of the human body, taking him/it to discover new possibilities to do music and of expressing artistically. The movements, the gestures and the voices allow to live the music that will act in a present and direct way inside the individual, taking him/it to notice and to produce several sounds, using as instrument the parts naturally found in his/her own body. Because the body and their movements are intrinsic to the human being, when doing music with the body we won spontaneity, agility and lightness, besides bringing for the intimacy of the relationship between the individual and his/her body the artistic creation, favoring the learning of the music. It is based in reading of goods and books that treat of a thematic analysis involving music, body, movement and sound. The results of the approach expose a new way to drive activities returned for the musicalization through the body. Musicalizar for the body recovers a spectrum of the music that is going besides the traditional music and it admits a practical and creative side truly new, while it undoes prejudices and it enlarges the music vision. Contributing like this to the recognition of the human body as important and indispensable tool for the musicalization process. A proposta deste trabalho acadêmico é ensinar a música utilizando os gestos e os movimentos corporais como alternativa para o processo de musicalização. A musicalização pelo corpo propicia ao indivíduo explorar os sons e os movimentos do corpo humano, levando-o a descobrir novas possibilidades de fazer música e de se expressar artisticamente. Os movimentos, os gestos e as vozes permitem vivenciar a música que atuará de maneira presente e direta no interior do indivíduo, levando-o a perceber e produzir sons diversos, utilizando como instrumento as partes naturalmente encontradas no seu próprio corpo. Porque o corpo e seus movimentos são intrínsecos ao ser humano, ao fazer música com o corpo ganhamos espontaneidade, agilidade e leveza, além de trazer para a intimidade da relação entre o indivíduo e seu corpo a criação artística, favorecendo o aprendizado da música. Fundamenta-se em leitura de artigos e livros que tratam de uma análise temática envolvendo música, corpo, movimento e som. Os resultados da abordagem expõem uma nova maneira de conduzir atividades voltadas para a musicalização através do corpo. Musicalizar pelo corpo recupera um espectro da música que vai além da música tradicional e admite um lado prático e criativo verdadeiramente novo, enquanto desfaz preconceitos e alarga a visão de música.
