Resumo:Starting from the premise which increasingly digital technologies are being sought for teaching and learning in different areas of knowledge, especially in the musical context, this paper has as main objective to present and discuss the perspectives of undergraduates guitarists in music as teachers and students about the use of these technologies. For data collection was carried out a mapping of the course students guitarists degree in music at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and later applied a questionnaire for the purpose to profile these students and identify their points of view on the use of digital technologies in music. The data showed that the participants of this research are experienced guitarists, with regard to the practice and study of the instrument, they have worked as professional musicians and this is the most coveted pretense between them, use different ways to learn the instrument, but they do use mainly of digital technologies as a means of learning the electric guitar. Starting from the interviews, we understand that if these technologies are used properly, permit access of guitarists to a diversity of ways of teaching and learning music, which profoundly influence in our training, otherwise they may cause various physical and musical problems.
