| Resumo: | This monography deals with relevant information in the construction and improvement of a work carried out in the interior of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, precisely in the coastal region of Touros and neighboring cities, through content and skills developed in the undergraduate music course of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. For a better understanding, the text was structured in three chapters addressing considerations about the teaching of music, including the Music Degree Course at UFRN and its structure; about the municipality of Touros, and about my experiences in the construction and maintenance of musical works on several fronts. The work was based on the updated literature on Music Education and on books by local authors such as Nilson Patriota and Antônio Tenório, to outline the historical, artistic and cultural scene of the city, in addition to interviews with important characters from this scenario. The main intention here is to show how good results can be obtained by the appropriate use of tools acquired and applied in the field of music to build intellectual, moral and motivational development for idle people and who seek, through music, a path of wisdom and of peace. |
