Resumo:This course conclusion work portrays to report my experience within the Som do Coração social project, as the first teaching practice in musicalization for children aged 2 to 6 years old. The structuring and organization of the project took place at the Escola Municipal Prof.ª Francisca de Canindé Batista Avelino, Parnamirim-RN, since 2015, with an emphasis on con-ducting the level 6 class, in 2018. The research aims, then, describe in detail how this class was prepared for the year-end recital, which culminated in the students' passage to the 1st year of elementary school. We also describe about the challenges encountered, advances and final results of my entire trajectory as the first teacher within this age group in children's mu-sicalization. Finally, I seek to reflect on the importance of being inserted in an academic insti-tution, as it helped positively in the teaching-learning process, in the relevance of exchanging experiences with other colleagues and professors, and in the construction of my own teaching practice. The mentioned project is important in the education of children who are at risk, since the realization of social projects related to music, whether in formal or non-formal contexts, help in their education, self-esteem and growth.
