Besides the study of such concepts, there will be an explanation on how the methodology of collective learning is done within the Harmonic Instrument class in Piano, along with my personal experience in the class, making a practical list of knowledge that has been acquired and the practice of piano performance in the professional context in which I work. The structure of this research will be through the collection and analysis of pedagogical practices used in the exercise of this discipline, as well as the generated results, which characterize it as a qualitative research , although also present quantitative traits. The universe of this research consists of eighteen (18) students and two (02) professors involved in the class in question, and data collection occurred through the application of a questionnaire, with the group of students, and a semistructured interview with teachers. Este trabalho tem como objetivo apontar e compreender as concepções de ensino e aprendizagem acerca da prática didática do Piano desenvolvida no curso de Licenciatura em Música da Escola de Música da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (EMUFRN), através da disciplina Prática de Instrumento Harmônico. Além do estudo de tais concepções, será relatado de que forma se dá a metodologia de ensino coletivo dentro da disciplina Prática de Instrumento Harmônico (Piano), juntamente com minha experiência particular, fazendo uma relação prática dos conhecimentos que foram adquiridos e o exercício da performance pianística no contexto profissional, no qual atuo. A estruturação desta pesquisa se dará através do levantamento e análise das práticas pedagógicas utilizadas no exercício desta disciplina, bem como os resultados gerados, o que a caracterizam como uma pesquisa qualitativa, embora, também apresente características quantitativas. O universo desta investigação é formado por 18 (dezoito) alunos e 02 (dois) professores envolvidos com a disciplina em questão.
