The methodology happened observations, which occurred toward the end of 2012, through contacts and observations with teachers and pupils in particular the guitar in this capital, through personal accounts of their own experiences of performances in teaching this particular instrument , besides considering my teaching practices and learning the guitar in this particular city as main requirement. Acknowledging and making not only teachers, but also the entire community of that city, they happen to know the guitar private lessons in Natal-RN and realize the importance of this mode ofteaching and learning in the context of music education. O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de apresentar uma experiência sobre as aulas particulares de violão que ministrei e participei como professor e aluno particular respectivamente, na cidade do Natal-RN desde 2002, tendo ainda a finalidade de investigar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem entre professores e alunos que observei durante 10 anos, acompanhando e questionando esse tipo de prática pedagógica. A metodologia utilizada aconteceu por observações, que ocorreram progressivamente até o final de 2012, através de contatos e observações feitas com professores e alunos do ensino particular do violão nessa capital, mediante relatos pessoais de suas própriasexperiências de atuações na área do ensino particular desse instrumento, além de considerar minhas práticas de ensino e aprendizagem do violão particular nessa cidade como requisito principal.
