| Resumo: | This monograph is based on the study of a case which took place in the Band Musician Course inside the National Program of Access to Technician Tuition and Employment (PRONATEC) of the Rio Grande do Norte Music School (EMUFRN), in the city of Monte Alegre, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The paper aims at analyzing the efficiency of this profession qualification based on the evolution of its alumini. The study observed that the Rio Grande do Norte State philharmonic bands are important socialization and musical development centers. However, before the PRONATEC program, the musicians did not have professional qualification opportunities in their cities. Since moving to the capital cities is an obstacle for their continued qualification, the PRONATEC and EMUFRN programs greatly contributed to improve their professional qualification. |
