| Resumo: | This research aimed to investigate the work developed by the Quinteto de Metais Kimporó, seeking to observe how this work contributes to the development of its members, as well as to the performance of the players within the activities developed by the Banda Filarmônica 24 de Outubro, entity from which it originated. The choice of the object of this study was the longevity of the group, that remain active although it has gone through several formations, and the fact that the researcher took part of the Quintet and keep in touch with the various members to the present. The methodological procedures used were the qualitative research and case study, and data collection was done by means of semi-structured interviews, photos, footage and postings on social networks as well as bibliographical research. The results obtained revealed that the interactions built on the activities developed by the Group made both musical and interpersonal development between all involved. |
