Initially, a survey of works and a bibliographic review was carried out regarding the use of analysis aimed at interpretation. Following the research procedure, we chose the process of applying the analysis script prepared by John Rink presented in the article Analysis and (or?) Performance, as well as the concept described in the work of Nicholas COOK (2006), where the author proposes the vision of the score as “Script” instead of “text”, to be used in that work. In this process, the following aspects were addressed: forms, motifs and melodic elements, dynamics and the realization of a rhythmic reduction of all movements. At the end of this study, we obtained data generated from the analysis carried out, with the aim of using it to suggest alternatives for coherent and conscious interpretation and execution, hoping that these will contribute to future performance of the work. Neste trabalho são apresentados procedimentos analíticos que visam auxiliar o intérprete, fornecendo-lhe possibilidades de resolução acerca de questões interpretativas encontradas durante o processo de preparação da Sonata Para Trompete e Piano de Claudio Santoro, bem como, a „tradução‟ dos elementos explícitos e implícitos na partitura que se revelam através dos signos, a saber: articulações, dinâmicas, andamentos e fraseados. Inicialmente foi realizado um levantamento de obras e uma revisão bibliográfica referentes ao uso da análise voltada à interpretação. Seguindo o procedimento da pesquisa, escolhemos o processo de aplicação do roteiro de análise elaborado por John Rink apresentado no trabalho Analysis and (or?) Performance, como também, o conceito descrito no trabalho de Nicholas COOK (2006), no qual o autor propõe a visão da partitura como “Script” ao invés de “texto”, para utilizarmos na referida obra. Nesse processo, foram abordados os seguintes aspectos: formas, motivos, elementos melódicos, dinâmica e a realização de uma redução rítmica de todos os movimentos.
