Streszczenie:The separation between the study of theory and practical experiments has always been a challenge in disciplines of electricity and electronics. Some bench instruments used in practical classes are expensive for the acquisition by most students, which restricts their realization to a specific laboratory of the educational institution and specific times. This factor also makes it impossible for these activities at home by students, which goes against a current tendency for teaching, which is distance education. Faced with this reality, the present work presents the development of the Minilab Metrópole, an innovative portable and low-cost physical device that aggregates the key features of an oscilloscope and a signal generator, in order to be used in electricity experiments and electronics. The research and construction of this artifact were initially thought to the students of the semipresential technical course with electronic emphasis on the Digital Metropolis Institute (IMD). The Minilab Metrópole seeks to make sure that students have their small laboratory for introductory electronics experiments anywhere and at any time. Because it is the construction of a technological artifact, it was decided to adopt the Design Science Research as a epistemologicalmethodological approach. Initially the main functionalities of the equipment used in electricity and electronics laboratories have been identified that they had the potential to be integrated into the project. Initially the main functionalities of the equipment used in electricity and electronics laboratories have been identified that they had the potential to be integrated into the project. With this survey, the functional prototype modules and proposals of practical activities that can be carried out with the device were developed. Finally, using these experimental activities, the prototype was validated by comparing the results obtained using commercial equipment. With relative errors below 10% it has proven that Minilab Metrópole can be a portable and low cost tool for performing experimental activities in both laboratory environment and outside it.
