सारांश:The present work aims to analyze the historicity of the organization and territorialization of the Lagoas-PI quilombola community, as well as to highlight the existential claim of the Lagoans regarding the struggle for the title of their lands, which occurred during the years 2005 to 2014. In this sense, we started from the re-semantics of the concept of quilombo, as an analytical category, to understand how the lagoons appropriated their constitutional rights, organized themselves, carried out the territorialization of their lands and claimed their existence. Thus, this research aims to present the mobilizations of representatives from one hundred and nineteen (119) locations, which are located in six (06) municipalities in the southeast of the state, to build quilombola territory. That is to say, it intends to approach, based on the organizational initiative of these subjects and the agreements established with some entities, regarding the territorialization and materialization of the Lagoas quilombola community, understanding their actions as against colonizers and decolonials. In addition, it intends to discuss the territorial conflicts that threatened its existence, highlighting the struggle for public policies due to the environmental racism suffered by the communit.
