Resumo:The dynamic educational goes through political, economic and financial interference, accompanied by a constant evaluation. In view of this reality, the objective of this article is to identify the profile of course coordinators in four units at Estacio Group, located in Brazil, as well as factors that can improve the relationship of these professionals with their directors, teachers and students. The research carried out in this article may be classified as having a quantitative approach, with exploratory and descriptive purposes. Data collection was carried out through personal interviews, whose main instrument was focused to identify the coordinator's profile, the entrepreneur's profile, the dimensions of the activity coordinator and also the difficulties and opportunities that impact the development of entrepreneurship in management courses. For the analysis of data was chosen descriptive statistics. The research has resulted as a result in age, marital status, sex, education level, training institution, income, media, working hours, experience, and practice time. In addition, there was a comparison between the Enterprising Characteristics (Bibliographic) versus Enterprising Characteristics of the Course Coordinators. At the end, it was identified coordinators functions, such as the difficulties and benefits in the political sense, managerial sense, academic sense and institutional sense to undertake. The benefits to the institutions surveyed were overcome challenges through the rise of a strategic management and innovation of the courses, with an implementation of a new vision of the course coordinator, as a professional who knows how to balance the management and teaching skills, innovating and with entrepreneurial skills
