Resumo:Syphilis is a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) caused by the bacteria Treponema pallidum. When a pregnant person is infected and does not undergo treatment for it or does it inadequately, the infection can be transmitted to the fetus, causing what is called congenital syphilis. According to data published by the World Health Organization, only in 2016, over a million pregnant people were estimated to have active syphilis during their pregnancy. Hence, within the context of the project Sífilis Não, a new exam for the diagnostics of congenital syphilis is proposed, with higher indices of sensitivity and specificity, so the risk for false positives and false negatives is mitigated. The work hereby presented arises from the necessity for a set of software services that supports the assays executed in the detection platform. The proposed architecture is composed of two web services, a graphical user interface, and a shared library. Produced technologies are multi-platform, and meet the criteria for robustness, stability, and availability.
