Resumo:This study sought to determine the attributes of system performance measurement of an institution of higher education in the Rio Grande do Sul. The methodology was based on quantitative research with purposeful sampling where information was collected through questionnaires answered by the governing body. It was observed that the critical point of the measuring system performance is the low participation of employees in the definition of indicators, on the other hand, the integration of the objectives of the various sectors was the attribute with the largest positive enhancement. The study is notable for addressing a specific theme and exploring its features, contributing to the literature, generating support management decisions and expanding horizons for further research. Finally, this article seeks to reduce the boundary between the subject performance evaluation and organizational studies
