Resumo:The objecve of this paper is to present anvexperience report of acons to confront domesc and family violence against women in primary health care, in Caicó (RN), in arculaon between the University and the Family Health teams. The proposals have been made since 2018 by residents and undergraduate students of the Mulcampi School of Medical Sciences of Rio Grande do Norte (EMCM / UFRN), valuing the longitudinal inseron of the University in the context of primary care. The results were organized according to the approach to the target audience and the type of acon (collecve and/or intersectoral). About the collecve experiences, we can idenfy them in the acvies: Waing Rooms, Health Promoon Groups, Women's Health acons, such as Prenatal and Child Care consultaons, Pregnant Women and Family Planning Group. Pracces of popular and permanent health educaon were performed for dialogue with the community and health workers. In the context of intersectoral acons, it was verified the importance of bringing the University closer to the municipal government to plan and execute acvies about gender­based violence. The University's parcipaon, through the Mulprofessional Residence and undergraduate degree, in health acons and intersectoral acvies promote the strengthening of collaborave work for the promoon of women's rights
