Materials and Methods: This is a qualitative descriptive study conducted with 25 patients from two ICUs, aged between 15 and 85 years old. Semi-structured interviews were conducted and the collected data were submitted to Thematic Contents Analysis. Results: These categories were highlighted: "Polarity feelings: positive and negative" and "Care provided by the professional team”.
Conclusion: The negative feelings related to the fear of what this hospital unity culturally represents prevailed. The positive feelings have been related to the possibility of the reestablishment of their healthy.
