Resumo: | This work is presented through an action-research about the use of language in Comic
Books, made in Arts classes in Santa Terezinha State School localized in the city of
São João do Sabugi (RN), based on the observation of applied praxis with 9th grade
students. The goals were to analyze the ludic and creative form of comic book
production in the school environment, generating a didactic proposal and product for
the spread of this knowledge. For over a century Comic Books have been a form of
media present all over the world, from which its language and codewords have been
used as a learning tool for educators in the area of elementary education, with studies
not as present yet in textbooks. The issue arose from the necessity of investigating the
difficulties of how students in a public school face a reading of such an art, using the
methodical process of action-research with elaborated questionnaires, strategies for
the pupils to know the sayings in the forms of expression in visual arts and its
techniques and creation process, divided between studies of panels, speech balloons,
onomatopoeias, character development, scenarios, scripts, arriving at the setup of a
final publication, which resulted in a didactic product from these experiences for other
educators. In order to set the challenges in this process, we analyzed the thoughts of
authors such as Bibe-Luyten (1987), Barbosa (1987), Eisner (1999), Ramos (2018),
McCloud (2005), Vergueiro (2010) and other researchers who contributed to the study
of this art. This project along with its product emphasizes the importance of using
comic books in classrooms, as a thematic axis that can have a critical role in the
student and the teacher’s critical analyses, with references in the competences and
abilities of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) to spread this language. This
study was financed in part by the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de
Nível Superior - Brasil (CAPES) - Finance Code 001. |
