Resumo:With the advancement of micro generation technologies and the increasing number of system users, a low voltage distribution network needs to be increasingly robust to detect future problems generated by these new challenges. Low voltage electrical protection systems are generally limited to overcurrent protections, where the actuator elements are mostly electromechanical devices. Although they have been appropriated for a long time, insertion of nonlinear devices into the power grid can cause some disturbances that can be sensitized by simple devices. However, in medium and high voltage systems there are complex advanced use devices that have a number of functions for protection. The present idea of design is constructed and implemented a prototype low voltage protection system that can, in part, protective functions that are unique to higher voltage systems. The prototype uses an ATMEGA 2460 microcontroller, installed on an “MEGA” arduino board, with utilization and performance components (TCs, TPs, Shields, Contactor). It is hoped that with the implementation of the project in a low voltage system, it will be able to protect itself more efficiently when being observed in the installed systems, and also to obtain more data for monitoring. The prototype also contains an oscillography function that allows a more complete analysis of the data obtained by the protection system. It also contains a bluetooth communication system for communication with smartphones, enabling real-time data response. The objective or minimum cost project that can be seen as one of its objectives is its collaborative accessibility to be implemented in as many systems as possible.
