The distance between what is taught in the classroom and students' daily life can generate demotivation because they do not see the possibilities of applying the knowledge they are learning. By the way, the incorporation of digital didactic games can help in the teaching and learning process, making the educational practice of chemistry teaching more attractive, innovative and motivating. In this way, the objective of our work was to develop, apply and evaluate a digital didactic game, designate Chemical Mining, for the resolution of exercises on chemical reactions. The results of the application of this game seem to signal the playful and social potential of this developed educational product, in addition to achieving the learning objectives. However, it should be noted that games should always be applied critically and never as a possibility to solve all the problems of chemistry teaching. Os professores do século XXI devem estar sempre atentos às mudanças que o ensino-aprendizagem vem apresentando com a presença cada vez mais volumosa das tecnologias voltadas para a prática docente. Os alunos que estão presentes na escola podem ser considerados nativos digitais, nasceram e estão crescendo em contato com as Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação (TDICs), seu mundo é digital, dominam esse ambiente com facilidade. O distanciamento entre o que é ensinado em sala de aula e o cotidiano dos alunos pode gerar desmotivação por não enxergarem as possibilidades de aplicação do conhecimento que estão aprendendo. Neste sentido, a incorporação de jogos didáticos digitais pode auxiliar no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, tornando a prática educativa do ensino de Química mais atrativa, inovadora e motivadora. Dessa forma, o objetivo do nosso trabalho foi elaborar, aplicar e avaliar um jogo didático digital, intitulado de Em Busca dos Minérios, para a resolução de exercícios sobre reações químicas. Os resultados da aplicação deste jogo parecem sinalizar para o potencial lúdico e social deste produto educacional desenvolvido, além de atingirem os objetivos da aprendizagem.
