Resumo:Digital games for education have been gaining place inside classrooms because they contribute to the students learning and motivation. This dissertation shows the architecture of a collaborative system to develop digital games for education. The development of such games is a complex process and, usually, involves many people with different profiles, making it difficult that teachers can develop customized games that meet their pedagogic needs. Through a collaborative system, it’s possible to unite all of the needed elements for the development of digital games for education, as it allows the integration and mutual help among the involved people, to reach a common goal. To realize this project it was proposed an architecture based on concepts and theories of collaborative systems in the 3Cs model for collaboration and development of collaborative systems. From this architecture, it was developed a prototype called ColabEduc, for application and tests of adopted concepts. As a result, there were digital games for education developed in a collaborative way, by educators, programmers, and designers, using ColabEduc.
